Schmalz has the largest range of vacuum technology on the market. Over 3500 different vacuum components can be used to create customized gripping solutions. The range includes a large number of vacuum suction cups for use in a variety of industries and applications. Schmalz also provides various special grippers using innovative gripping technology. These are ideal for special applications such as handling systems for solar wafers or textiles. A vacuum system also includes additional components, for example mounting elements, vacuum generators, valves, filters as well as switches and system monitoring devices.
Schmalz grippers reduce cycle times and optimize operating costs in the field of automated handling systems. The area gripping systems FXP/FMP possess enormous suction force. This allows them to handle even very heavy workpieces quickly. With its ingenious gripper, the layer gripping system SPZ is ideal for use in warehouse logistics and intra-logistics. By combining vacuum technology with a global vacuum and mechanical grippers, the system can grip entire product layers or pallets – even if they are not complete. The vacuum suction spider SSP offers end-of-arm tooling for a specific customer application, guaranteeing an optimal solution.
With the vacuum end effector VEE Schmalz developed a new gripper specifically for pick and place applications using Delta, SCARA and articulated robots. The system offers exceptional flexibility. Thanks to the innovative modular system, the number and position of suction cups can be varied. The online configurator makes it extremely simple to design complete end effectors within just a few minutes. The innovative VEE technology is designed to safely handle high-speed applications with accelerations of up to 10 g.
Schmalz vacuum lifters and crane systems are classified as manual handling systems. They are known for providing the optimum ergonomic, healthy working conditions. Even when handling lighter loads, the moving mass can amount to several tons during a single shift. Schmalz gripping systems make manual handling processes more efficient. At the same time, they reduce operating costs in the long term thanks to a number of innovative features. An extensive range of accessories plus a personalized consultation from our Schmalz systems consultants guarantees that Schmalz grippers will be perfectly configured to the requirements of the application. Schmalz makes a distinction between two types of vacuum technology for manual handling systems: the vacuum tube lifter Jumbo allows for ergonomic handling of loads weighing up to 300 kg with high switching precision. The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster can be used to move loads weighing several tons safely and with health and safety in mind. Combined with Schmalz crane systems, these devices form read-to-connect complete systems for your handling tasks. Schmalz grippers are therefore powerful tools in all areas of manual handling.
One of the uses of grippers is clamping and holding workpieces in place during internal production processes. Schmalz provides clamping technology for all types of CNC machining centers. The innovative clamping technology from Schmalz is ideal for all CNC machining centers whether they are being equipped for the first time or they are being updated. Schmalz clamping technology therefore provides an economic alternative to investment in a new machine. Schmalz offers a number of different vacuum technology systems for CNC machining centers: The vacuum blocks for woodworking are ideal for efficient grid table, flat table and console table system setup. Innovative Innospann grippers significantly increase productivity during a renovation project.
